Ongoing Timeline Instructions
1) Pretty much every day you will be adding to this timeline until you are done with this course.
2) You need to add every event that you learn about that is significant.
3) By the end you should have around 25 events marked.
4) You will be graded on how complete your timeline is- feel free to ask me for suggestions as you are going along.
5) For each event you need to mark the date that it occurred, and have an explanation of why it is significant.
6) Look at the example I made here (right click on the link and choose "open in a new window").
7) Click on the tagged dates to view the text.
8) Now you will create your Ongoing timeline at www.timetoast.com (right click and "open in a new window")
9) Right now you are just making your timeline, you will add your first events when you go through the first lessons.
10) To share your timeline you must publish your timeline, then view it, then you can embed or share it.
11) Copy the web address to your timeline and paste it as the assignment under the Ongoing Timeline tab in Blackboard.
